This Microsoft/Quest Software Tech Brief describes how the QMX VMM ProTips Management Pack allows you to pass alerts from System Center Operations Manager 2007 to System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008. For example, if you have an operating system or an application on a virtual machine, such as Microsoft HyperV, or VMware, the alert goes into Operations Manager and is then passed into Virtual Machine Manager 2008.
